Giles Monette
is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural entrepreneur. He has spent his life working and developing artists, brands, gallery spaces, creative hubs, and not for profit organizations throughout Toronto and the GTA. He has held the titles of Video producer, Video Director, Art Director for print, Creative Director, Documentation Director and Fine Art Curator. He currently works as a full-time Artist, freelance Designer, and Independent Curator. Giles uses all of his skills to create community and push opportunity for all.

Urbanology Magazine: 2006 to 2008
Title: Art Director
Description: Lead a team of illustrators, photographers, graphic designers to create visual content for print of internationally distributed music arts and culture magazine.
Manifesto Music and Arts Festival: 2007 to 2012
Title: Cultural Liaison, Documentation Director
Description: Interacted with artists and audience communicating information about the company. Team leader of up to 50 videographers, photographers to document week-long arts and culture music festival. Footage compiled and edited into a recap video and shorter online journalistic content to promote the festival and create community.
Manifesto TV Online Video Channel: 2007 to 2014

Description: Created online platform. Team leader of videographers, photographers, video editors, and journalists to create weekly online content. Videos consisted of show recaps, artist interviews, and performance pieces.
